Why I’m called to do the work I do…

Advocacy has always been part of me, but the depth of this work and my purpose in it didn’t fully land until I became a parent. Suddenly, I understood, viscerally, why support and healing matter. When you’re the one in need, everything changes; what once seemed optional becomes essential. I do this work because I know what it feels like to crave understanding, guidance, and belonging. I never want another mother, parent, or family to feel unseen or alone.

My vision is a world where mothers are carried through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I see a healed village as a place where every mother has someone to call, a hand to steady her, and a community that says, “We’ve got you.” Where the wisdom of generations is shared, not hoarded; where mothers and families are lifted up, not left behind. If we don’t make this vision real, we risk losing even more. More joy, more connection, more possibility for our children and ourselves.
